IFDS platforms CIO joins Bravura

Bravura Solutions has hired Ian Wilkinson to the newly created role of director of project management.

Wilkinson will be responsible for new projects within Bravura, and will be involved in implementing Bravura’s wealth management platform, Sonata. He will report to Harry Storer, COO of wealth management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Previously, Wilkinson was chief investment officer for the platforms division at IFDS, and he has also held senior positions at GBST, Lifetime, Anite Group and IBM.

Storer said: “[Wilkinson] brings with him a wealth of experience within both software and financial services firms, and is a proven delivery and implementation leader.”

Wilkinson said: “I’m very pleased to join Bravura at such an exciting time. They have developed a strong reputation and client base in the wealth management space.”

He added: “I look forward to bringing my expertise to the role, building on the company’s proven delivery record and contributing to the organisation’s overall success in EMEA.”
